ESPN site fails to load properly with shields on

Description of the issue:
Navigation to espn.com with shields on causes much of the site to load yet freeze the user from using the scrollbar or tab functions, thereby locking the user on a section of the page indefinitely. After some time, the desktop device’s fan starts and doesn’t finish until the user closes the browser/tab with the espn.com site or changes the shields to off.

Please provide an update. It’s been over 3 days and the problem still exists. I have verified in my browser settings I am on the current version. Thanks.

It worked initially, but they changed the script name slightly. I’ve made my change a little more generic.
