Description of the issue:
Visiting espn.com on Brave 0.67.124 on OSX 10.14.6 results in a tab that does not stop loading. CPU begins to race (Process will display over 100% CPU). The icon in the left side of the tab continues to “spin” (indicating still loading).
The process that appears to use up 100%+ CPU is /Applications/Brave Browser.app/Contents/Frameworks/Brave Browser Framework.framework/Versions/220.127.116.11/Helpers/Brave Browser Helper (Renderer).app/Contents/MacOS/Brave Browser Helper (Renderer)
Disabling shields works around this issue.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Open up new tab.
- Go to espn.com
- Disable shields and page is re-loaded (successfully)
