Twitch disabled all interactions using Brave Browser. I am not sure why. It may have something to do with the ad blocking feature however nothing is working properly with the website currently. This started right before Christmas for me.

@AnimaterCreator what are you talking about? It’s working perfectly fine for me unless I’m missing what you’re referencing. Perhaps it’s an issue on your end due to extensions, cookies, or custom filters you have created. But I’m able to get around whether I’m logged in or logged out.

I’m not sure how it’s working for you unless you managed to avoid most of the recent updates. It doesn’t work for me however. I just logged out and now I can’t even log back in via brave browser.
I would like to add it works in incognito mode but doesn’t in the regular browser even with all the extensions and the shield turned off. Tried deleting cookies and still the same.
@AnimaterCreator I’m on 1.73.104 for Brave but also tested on Beta and Nightly. I’m on Windows 11 Pro.
Seems to work no matter what I’m doing. I’ve tried changing a lot of different types of settings and can’t see the same message.
Just out of curiosity, did you do all cookies for all time, only the cookies on Twitch, or what step did you take on this part?
in my case i deleted my cookies [twitch] and it works.
I remember something similar happened with chatgpt in the past but I found the solution was to disable all plugins and then clear the cache/cookies for the site. So I attempted to do the same for twitch and it didn’t work. It works in incognito mode but not the regular browsing. I’m not using night brave, I’m using the regular version. The site isn’t working. I’ve tried clearing cookies, turning off shield, restarting the browser and even my computer. Nothing worked.
@AnimaterCreator can you please try creating a guest profile (Menu --> More tools --> Guest profile) and test to see if you can reach the site there? The main take away here is that the issue appears to be isolated — in that it’s specific to your profile/setup in some way — rather than a widespread issue with the browser. We need to find what specific data and/or settings are causing the issue.
created an account just to comment here. Having the exact same issues as OP and have tried all these fixes he has and still cannot log in to twitch other than private tab. I did try the guest account and it worked but still can’t do it on my main profile.
@jaytests can you please list exactly what fixes you’ve tried already (on your main profile) so that we do not suggest them again? If the site is working normally in the guest profile then that very likely means that there is something contained within your main profile that is causing the issue.
Could be an extension, bad data, Shields setting, etc but we’ll need to know what you’ve tried already to narrow it down. I know you said you tried “all these fixes” but if you could be specific that would help.
