Error RESULT_CODE_IN VALID_SANDBOX_STATE after upgrade to Ubuntu 22.04

  1. I just upgraded from Ubuntu 21.10 to 22.04
  2. Since the upgrade Brave starts OK. It can open and close tabs. Any attempt to open a web page gives the Aw, Snap screen with error message: RESULT_CODE_INVALID_SANDBOX_STATE
  3. I cannot tell you which version I am using since even the About Brave command brings up the same error.

It turns out I needed to upgrade Brave. Upgrading from 1.24.84 to 1.38.109 did the trick,

I’m running Pop!_Os and since upgrading to 22.04 Brave won’t load anything and I’m not sure to how to upgrade Brave. If you guys could help me out that would be awesome. I’m currently getting error 159 which I’m not sure is the same error as you got.
