Same here, I also belong to india. We people of india hope that team is working on it. my petition is that fix this issue as soon as possible because I have to change my HDD to SSD but my all brave rewards are still there in brave default wallent.
Look if i change my hdd to ssd but i keep my brave browers data & files on my hdd so will i able to get my brave rewards back by connecting hdd to my computer after installing ssd in my laptop ?

I’m getting kinda sick of this “Region not supported” message that BOTH Uphold and Gemini have decided to show. If this doesn’t get sorted in a month, I’m uninstalling Brave. Indians are not 2nd class citizens and we don’t like to get treated this way. You have been warned Brave, you have 1 month to save your company. You will get no growth if Indians don’t use your browser.
You can’t simply take decision to stop connecting wallets. You should have an alternative for that. Brave call itself web3.0 browser and works like web2.0.

What’s going on with all the recent Regional changes, such as India?
We’ve moved fast in trying to get BAT to everyone and make ourselves available in as many regions as possible. Unfortunately each government has different restrictions and we’ve encountered some pushback from that in different countries. For example, each country has different requirements for KYC/AML among other things that weren’t being met by current standards, so those regions had to be put on hold while this gets resolved.
We really want India and other countries to be able to be Verified and are working behind the scenes to do everything we need. We hope to get this resolved ASAP but there’s no timeline.
Why can’t we use Coinbase, Binance, or other exchanges?
The process in having a business relationship with exchanges is more difficult than Users may realize. There are a lot of fees and other arrangements that need to be set up to happen.
That said, we are in talks with multiple and hoping to reach new deals to expand offerings. In fact, we can’t give details, but we have a major deal we’re hoping to reach soon that would make Users very happy. We are also always reaching out and trying to do business with other companies, but it takes time.

I do not participate in Brave Rewards. But I understand there are sometimes very pro-longed struggles, when trying to get a development project thru its stages . . . and people are frustrated because ‘there is no end in sight.’
My view, is that everybody using Brave Rewards, is a participant in its Research and Development - a very long series of field tests.

It’s well planned by brave thiefs to stole our entire BAT two days before the monthly credit cycle.
If you are genuine you should have informed us in advance to transfer the BAT to our own wallet.
