Error msg.: ""Flash Player Auto Update Daemon"… needs to be updated" --?

I sometimes see the following appear on-screen:

– e.g., it just happened when I opened a Twitter page (in a TOR Private window).

Any idea what triggers this? Can I just ignore it?

The “Learn More” button links to this ‘help’ page:

@mk7z,
Seems like its more of a system issue than a Brave issue – I imagine that if you had opened Chrome instead of Brave you would have seen the same message.

@mattches OK, guess I’ll just ignore it then.

I thought Chrome (& therefore Chromium, I assume – and thus Brave, also) wasn’t even using Flash anymore.

Flash is being discontinued, but will remain active/supported through 2020.
