Description of the issue:
When I generate a 500 error (i.e. not a 404 page not found error), a bar at the top says “Sorry, that page is missing, Do you want to check if a saved version is available on the Wayback Machine”.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open Brave
- Enter URL for a cgi file with not sufficient permissions
- or Enter URL for a cgi file which has fundamental errors
Expected result:
As currently, but without that bar: “Sorry, that page is missing…”

Additional information:
Version 1.23.71 Chromium: 90.0.4430.72 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Additional Information:
It seems quite likely that this is not specific to 500, but that all errors trigger this bar.
It is true that probably most errors are indeed 404 not found, but not all are.
