@aboudjom Just going to go through things here.

First, two points:

  • It’s currently Saturday. Support rarely is active here on American holidays and weekends. So it might be a while before official answers can come.

  • I will tag @JimB1 and @CerealLover to see if they might have ideas. (these are other users as well, not Brave staff. But they know a lot and can be quite helpful)

Then, some questions:

  1. Is this from an original installation of Brave or did you transfer Brave over from another device?

  2. When are you seeing this notice? (For example, does it appear as soon as you open Brave or only after certain actions are taken?)

  3. Does this show if you open a Private Window?

  4. If you create a new profile by going to hamburger menu (three lines on top right of your browser), does that same notice appear there?

It was working fine, just yesterday the problem occurred
Note: I created a Microsoft account
The problem may be in your recent update or Microsoft account

Hi, I think one of @Saoiray 's questions might still be unanswered.

  • Does it still occur if you create a new profile and use that profile? (Make sure your original profile does not have any open windows; only the new profile should be open.) (Creating and testing a new profile will not affect your original/existing profile(s).)

Also, do you have any extensions installed/enabled? If so, does it still happen with them all disabled? (I think there is a command-line option you can use to disable them on startup if needed.)

Is any antivirus or other security software installed? You should probably run a full scan, and an offline scan if possible, in case some malicious software is involved.

Do you use ‘CCleaner?’
