When I click on the bookmarks icon and navigate to one of my folders then move right over to the next sub folder the mouse flicks back and forth to the previous folder making it very hard to navigate to the desired bookmark. I’m using Debian stable and Nvidia driver 460.91.03. All my other programs and games work fine while using the mouse including the system folders.
@smashed,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
Is there any way you can take a short recording of the behavior? Would help if I could get a better look at what’s going on.
Off the topof my head, it might be a particular extension you have installed, or Hardware Acceleration
. You can try disabling Hardware Acceleration
in settings to see if this resolves the issue:
Settings --> Additional Settings --> System --> Hardware Acceleration
Thanks for the reply I tried turning off Hardware Acceleration and had the same erratic mouse behavior. I made a video of the erratic mouse behavior. However I get a message that new users can’t upload. I will try attaching it to the email instead.
The first video didn’t go through here is a smaller version.

@smashed,
Do you have any extensions installed in the browser at this time? If so, can you try disabling them and test to see if you still get the same behavior?
I don’t have any extensions installed, however Brave did an update today and it seems to be working fine now! Thanks
@smashed,
Well that’s fantastic news!
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
