Enabled the extension via enableExtension(extensionId) the extension script doesnt get executed automatically

I want auto run the extension background script. When i open the extension page via about:extensions and generated_background.html the extension background sccript gets executed.

Hi @akshay,

Looks like you’re having the old and outdated Brave. The latest version for Brave (muon) is 0.25.x.

I do suggest you to try the new Brave (0.56.x higher). This version will replace the old Brave. brave.com/download

And this new version do support Chrome extension. So it may be easier to build an extension.
