Description of the issue: When a URL is clicked in my email client, nothing happens.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Click on a URL in an email message.
- Nothing happens after I click on the URL in the email.
Expected result: The expected result would be that after clicking on the URL in an email, the URL would open in my default browser (Brave).
Brave Version( check About Brave
): Version 1.77.101
Additional Information: This is just one of several bugs in Brave after the latest update. I have to copy the URL and paste it into the address bar for it to work.

Do you see this issue in a Private Window or new profile?
Does clearing cookies/history resolve the matter?

Email Client? I’m currently using Thunderbird as my email client.
Issue in Private Window or new profile? The issue occurs in a private window. I’m using Thunderbird on my mobile phone, on my Windows 11 machine, and my Linux machine. I’m having the same problem on all my systems.
Clearing Cookies/History? Yes, I’ve tried clearing the browser cache, cookies, and history; but the URLs still do not work.
To clarify, the issue is occurring in the Thunderbird app and not within Brave?
I’m unable to replicate with Thunderbird and Brave Beta.
