I use the hosts file to block ad blasting domains along with other undesirables. I’ve triple-checked to make sure none of the domains are somehow in the hosts file, and they aren’t.
I’m using Linux Mint 20.2, switching back and forth from Cinnamon to Gnome. Brave Version 1.29.80 Chromium: 93.0.4577.63 (Official Build) (64-bit) and using Thunderbird for email.
