Email and password autofill registered as empty when logging in

Description of the issue:
In a few websites, wherever Brave autofills my email and password, and I after I hit ‘sign in’, I get a validation error as if the fields were empty:


I get prompted to save my login but I confirmed I have a password saved and it autofills to it.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Visit tcgplayer.com with a saved user/pw
  2. Hit ‘Sign in’ (fields should be autofilled at this point)
  3. Validation error should be seen as my screenshot above

Expected result:
Fields are autofilled as expected and one can log in

Mobile Device details
iPhone 15 iOS 18.3.2

Additional Information:
If I choose to autofill with my iPhone passwords then it works as expected. As a workaround I’m also able to add a space then delete it and then the fields will be correctly filled in and I can sign in.
