Deleting individual cookies can be quite tedious, so we need a feature that allows for bulk deletion through selection. Currently, the options are to either delete all cookies or remove them one by one.
To improve this, I propose:
- A “Select Multiple” option to choose cookies from specific sites for deletion.
- An “Invert Selection” option that, when used, will toggle the selection, allowing you to keep only the selected cookies and delete the rest.
Use Cases:
Scenario 1:
Imagine you have cookies from 100 websites stored in your browser, and you want to delete cookies from only 8-10 of those sites. With the “Select Multiple” option, you can easily select the cookies from those sites and delete them all at once.
Scenario 2:
Consider you have cookies from 100 websites and want to keep cookies from only 5 of them, deleting the remaining 95. Instead of selecting all 95 individually, you can select the 5 sites you want to keep and use the “Invert Selection” option to delete the cookies from the other 95 sites. This approach is inspired by functionality in Windows OS.
How do you find Cookies in Brave on:
Mobile: setting > Site Settings (General Section) > All Sites
Desktop (Windows): “brave://settings/content/all”
