Please add a way to retain Named Windows, even without any tabs.
I would find it very useful to be able to see those windows in the Window dropdown menu (Mac). Currently, once they have no tabs such windows disappear.
Note that deletion of all files in standard file directories, e.g., in the Mac Finder, does not remove the folder. Same idea here.
The “Close window when closing last tab” setting does a bit of what you want. It will keep all windows open when tabs are closed, you can close un-named ones with the window’s close button. brave://settings/?search=close%20window%20when
Alternatively, you can assign a shortcut to the Name A Window functionality, so even if you close those windows it’s easy to recreate them. brave://settings/system/shortcuts
Thanks!… I somehow never noticed that setting before.
Not sure I understand the ‘shortcut’. How is it different than just hitting one of the default key commands to open a ‘new window’ of the desired type – regular, Private or Private TOR?
There’s no ‘window name’ retention that can be attached to it, or is there?
