Drag and drop to imessage problem

So when you drag and drop an image from brave browser to imessage window directly, it does not appear in imessage, and after a few seconds an error appears.

you can reproduce it by drag and dropping an image or gif from brave browser to imessage window directly on mojave

  1. go to a website
  2. click and drag an image
  3. dropping the image into an imessage window

the expect result is for the image to appear on imessage ready to be sent

brave version 1.14.81

this happens on os x 10.14.6 mojve on a macbook pro 15 inch touch bar generation 14,3
