Downloads in Brave isn't working

I will download anything in Brave browser and it’s not working , it doesn’t download

**1. I click in the button to download a pdf for example
2.I choose where i would like to save the file, in my computer **

It doesn’t happen the download, nothing is being saved

Download the file and when we type ctlr+j, we hope to see the downloads but we cannot see it :

### Description We are seeing Linux users report that they are unable to downlo…ad files (of any kind/from any source) in Brave when the `Ask where to save each file before downloading` option is enabled in `brave://settings/downoads`. If the option is toggled "off", downloads work in the browser as expected. Users affected appear to be using Ubuntu, one of them installed via snap.
