Downloads History getting wiped?!

Description of the issue:
I have noticed recently that whenever my PC sleeps or I exit Brave browser my downloads history disappears! Its really annoying cuz I could be downloading a file and my PC sleeps for a minute, when I wake it and check my downloads on Brave, everything is gone including the file I was currently downloading. They should please do something about it!
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Download anything and exit Brave or sleep/restart your PC

Expected result:
Keep my downloads history without wiping both completed and ongoing downloads

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Brave is up to date

Brave 1.79.119 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Chromium: 137.0.7151.68

I am also seeing the same behaviour, but it seems to be with only certain file types (e.g. .zip files, but .jpg is ok) anyone have any clues what is going on here?
