My suggestion is that you add an option to the context menu (right click) for downloading videos and other media, in the same way you can download photos from the context menu. I have attached pictures below showing the saving function in two other browsers, which is not present in Brave. So far, I have tested this with GIFs, MP4s & WEBMs from Reddit & Gfycat
The other browsers also have controls for the videos. (loop, pause, mute etc.)

- Find a GIF, WEBM, MP4 & open it in Brave and at least one other browser.
- Right click on the video in each browser and note the context menu options.
