Just for my own clarification, are you downloading multiple docx. files or an individual docx. file?

I am downloading an individual docx. file.
- Logout of google, and re-login again.
- Also test in private window mode (no extensions)
Also tested on my end, https://gif.fanboy.co.nz/gif/download-docx.gif

Brave downloads Excel spreadsheet as .zip at https://mega.nz/ too and Mega does not support Google log-in.
