Downloaded documents - where did they go?

Completed downloads are not showing under the tab “Window” and then “Downloads”. They are not saving to my computer in my recent downloads folder either. Where are they?

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Download a file
  2. Where is it?

Expected result:
File should be found in my “recent downloads” on my computer or in the downloads area in Brave.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.46.144

where did they go?

To whichever folder you saved them to. If you go to brave://downloads/ it should show you where you chose to download.

And brave://settings/downloads is where you choose the default location to be saved.

Just FYI, there’s been an update since. You may want to update to the latest, which is 1.46.153

Looks like the browser update didn’t finish. Now that I have 1.46.153, the downloads work properly.
