Download Dropdown not Appearing

When I download a file, it used to appear in the top right in a dropdown. This allowed me to access it quickly for any work I was doing. Now the files do not appear there but still show up in the Brave downloads (CTRL+J). I can’t figure out what setting would have changed how that interacts.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Download any file

Expected result: Download appears in the top right dropdown.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.75.58 Chromium nightly

Is the correct version Nightly v1.78.58 (Chromium 135.0.7049.26) ?

In Chromium 135, go to Settings > Appearance > Customize your toolbar and turn on the Download button.

Yes, latest version is 1.78x. OP mentioned 1.75, but could have been a typo.
