Doubt about sync with google photos

Hello everyone,

Here is one long time Brave user and I’m writing here because I faced some doubts or I would like to clear my situation once for all. In sense of this “work from home” deal last days I used Brave on my private Android phone (Galaxy S9) to log in to my company e-mail (we use google-gmail as a platform). As I used my private phone because I needed fast access to mail at one moment, now I saw under myactivity that all my searches that went through Brave-browser in that timeframe were documented.

So here is my question: Is there possibility that google also synced my private photos or gained access to my gallery and synced photos through Brave while logged in and how can I check this (Gallery at photos.google.com is empty).

I want to make it clear that I logged in to my business email only through Brave few times and I didn’t set-up new account on android or something similar.

As I want to learn more, I would like to be linked also on some resources which are clear about this topic and what is automatically or not synced through Brave Browser.

Hi there – was Shields enabled when you did so? If you don’t have tracker blocking activated this is the expected behavior.

However, your Shields settings shouldn’t affect any of your Google accounts settings – they are entirely separate. I would recommend looking into your sync settings for your Google Photos account.
