Double click required in "Remember password" dialog

Description of the issue: The “Remember Password” dialog in Brave browser requires two clicks to perform any action (Never, Save, close). The first click on any element does not close the dialog or execute the intended action (e.g., remembering the password), despite the button appearing activated. Only the second click resolves the action and closes the dialog.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Install Brave with the default configuration.
  2. Navigate to a website where Brave prompts to remember a password.
  3. Attempt to interact with the “Remember Password” dialog.

Expected Behavior: A single click on any button (Never, Save, close) should execute the action immediately and close the dialog.

Actual Behavior: The dialog requires two clicks to execute any action and close.

Brave Version: 1.65.114 (also reproducible in beta versions).

Additional Information: This issue has been persistent in Brave across several versions, dating back to early releases. Obviously, some external factors specific to my system configuration influence this behavior, though they are currently unidentified.

I can reproduce it here across multiple computers (Linux, Debian).

Version 1.64.113 Chromium: 123.0.6312.86 (Official Build) (64-bit)

and I have also seen it on other versions, but it only just started for me a month ago or so. I’m not sure if it was directly tied to a version update or not.

I only have two extensions installed, if it is relevant:
Capital One Shopping: Save Now
Eno® from Capital One®

The issue has resolved spontaneously and I can no longer reproduce it, despite it persisting for years. My version of Brave has not changed.
