I’m new to this and I’m probably older than most. I want to control what ads I see and don’t mind paying for that. So I’m trying to figure out if I need a desktop computer with a different version of the browser to do that. From what I’ve read that seems to be necessary. If someone wants to fill me in it would be greatly appreciated

Hi @Leej ,

First, you don’t need to “pay” to go ad-free. Brave with it’s built-in ad blocker is free to use. But Brave also do encourage it’s user to support their favorite sites/channel through Brave Rewards. https://brave.com/faq/#price

Brave is available for free on all platforms; Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS.

And Brave Rewards is also planned for mobile version. It’s still in the works.
I hope that answered your questions. Feel free to ask if there’s any another question/s.
Thanks

Thanks for the info. I will be looking forward to the release of the mobile application. I have been using brave for some time now and love it.
Is there a estimated release date for mobile rewards?
Is there a Beta we can test?
