Does Brave use its own video player when accessing Twitch?

Description of the issue:

Hi,

I noticed when accessing Twitch, the video player is different than usual. It has label that says Highwind player (see screenshot). This player also has different keyboard shortcuts than what it has previously.

This only happens when accessing twitch using Brave browser. When I use Chrome, I get the normal video player.

Not sure whether this is caused by Brave or twitch itself. Any ideas?

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 0.69.132 Chromium: 77.0.3865.90 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Operating system:
Windows 10 Home 1803 64-bit

Managed to solve the problem by clearing cookies and site storage for twitch. Still confused what caused it in the first place.

Twitch is using a new video player on all browsers, not just Brave. I’ve heard clearing cookies/cache helps temporarily, but you’ll get it back eventually.
