Refferencing this issue Disabling Javascript on developer tools has no effect
This is still an issue, this only works when brave shield is up
Let’s say, that you want to block JavaScripts source domain blockjvs.com.
Without visiting the website, in a Brave New Window, go to:
brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2Fblockjvs.com
Scroll down to JavaScript and adjust the setting to Block.
NOTICE: In that Brave Browser Settings URL address, the following character string may be regarded as a fixed portion of the whole address characters string:
brave://settings/content/siteDetails?site=https%3A%2F%2F
. . . at the end of which, you attach the domain name (blockjvs.com) of the website of interest.
Next, in a Brave New Window, go to brave://settings/content/javascript, and in the Search field near the upper-right corner of the page, enter: blockjvs.com
Scroll down the page and examine both categories:
- Not allowed to use JavaScript
- Allowed to use JavaScript
IF NOT already listed in the Not allowed to use JavaScript category, enter [*.]blockjvs.com and Add that.
IF already listed in the Allowed to use JavaScript category, remove that blockjvs.com entry.
