Disable "top sites" tracking on New Tab Page

How to disable TRACKING for “top sites” on the New Tab Page?

I use Brave to maintain privacy, so I don’t want frequent sites tracked.

To be clear, I am not asking for a change to the NTP. I want to disable the tracking that drives the “top sites”.

Brave 1.14.86
Android 10, Pixel 3XL build
