When using multiple websites with similar domain names, Brave prompts (in an aggressive/ intrusive way) whether we really want to go to the website that we have typed in. This happens even though the domain is bookmarked and is a favourite and has recently been used and has cookies.
Other people have raised this in the past and there apparently used to be a flag to disable this, but that flag has gone. Search for “lookalike” in the search bar and you get posts like this one:
This makes Brave unusable for me, as I frequently (once every few minutes) am typing in a site that generates this message, so please help! I am experimenting with alternative browsers until I can find a fix.
