Disable all notifications, never ask?

Description of the issue:

When websites try to send me notifications, I get a popup asking to allow this.
I don’t want this, ever. Is there a way to permanently disable ALL website notifications, instead of having to block every individual website separately?

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Visit any random site that tries to send notifications, e.g. community.brave.com or tomshardware.com or many others

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

Note that the notifications settings are like this:

Apparently I can only choose “Ask before sending” yes or no. But I would like to have “Never allow, and never ask”.

Expected result:

Reproduces how often:

Always whenever visiting a site (that hasn’t been blocked yet) trying to send notifications.

Operating System and Brave Version:

macOs 10.14.4 (Mojave),
Brave Version 0.62.51 Chromium: 73.0.3683.103 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:

Hi @Kornolio2000,

You can flip the “Ask before sending” switch. It’ll change to “Block” and will block all notification request.

Thanks

Oh, haha, I must have been confused with another option. I thought it was either “enabled” or “ask”.

Thanks, got it blocked now! :+1::+1:
