Dialogs auto-dismissing in Sharepoint365

Description of the issue:
When using Microsoft Sharepoint 365, any javascript confirmation dialogs / alerts are auto-dismissed before you can click the buttons on them.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary):

  1. Login to a Microsoft Sharepoint 365 portal
  2. Navigate to (for example): Site Settings > People & Groups > [select a group]
  3. Place a checkbox next to 1 or 2 members of the group
  4. Click the ACTIONS menu item, and choose to “Remove users from this group”

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):
For security reasons, cannot share a screencapture of this, however after step 4 above, Sharepoint365 displays a Javascript alert asking the user to confirm the Remove action with OK and Cancel buttons.

However, the browser autodismisses (ESCAPES) the alert within a second of it displaying, so the user can never hit the buttons on the alert.

This occurs with Shields Down for the site, on macOS Mojave.

Expected result:
The javascript alert stays on screen until the user clicks either OK or Cancel on the alert.

Reproduces how often:
Every time.

Brave Version(about:brave):
Version 0.56.6 Chromium: 70.0.3538.67 (Official Build) beta (64-bit)

Reproducible on current live release (yes/no):
Uncertain.

Additional Information:
macOS Mojave 10.14.1 Beta (18B73a)
