Device Limit error when linking with Gemini

Description of the issue:
When I try to link my Gemini account, I get the “Wallet linking failed” error message.
I was previously connected to Uphold but disconnected some time ago.
As far as i was able to understand, the device limit only applies to Uphold, not Gemini

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Link an Uphold account on your desktop
  2. Disconnect from Uphold on desktop
  3. Reach Uphold device limit on other devices
  4. try to link Gemini on desktop

Expected result:
Gemini account linked successfully

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.31.87

Gemini has a device limit of 4 as well…

thank you for the feedback. I was under the impression that Gemini would not suffer from that limit from older comunnity posts (before gemini was available).
Do you know if unlinking devices resets the counter?

It doesn’t. They’re working on tools so you can do that so you gotta be patient for that…

if i have reached on gemini upto 4, can i use my uphold wallet while in this process ?
