"Desktop site" mode not working for https://open.spotify.com/ , the page goes in infinite loop forever

Description of the issue:
Spotify website on latest brave browser works properly (downloaded on 5pm 26 November 2024) .
The issue starts when I turn on “Desktop Site” option for the Spotify page. As soon as ticked the Spotify page goes in infinite loop of reloading the page.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
Android mobile
Download Brave app
Allow all permisions
Open Spotify website https://open.spotify.com/ and sign in
Turn on ‘Desktop Site’ mode
You will see page reloading in infinite loop.

Expected result:
Continues loop of page reloading

Reproduces how often:
Always

I often encounter situations like the one you mentioned, and it’s hard to completely resolve them. Try using AudFree Spotify Playlist Downloader to download your favorite songs to your computer, then transfer them to your phone.

Looked into that, but that is a paid product; according to the FAQ on their website, the free version does not fully convert files. Kind of ironic, if you ask me.
