Desktop "shortcut" windowed apps crashes on double click

Description of the issue:
On macOS v10.15.4 (19E287) using Brave Version 1.8.86 Chromium: 81.0.4044.129 (Official Build)(64-bit) the windowed shortcut windows exit on double click.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Go to a website or webapp of your choice
  2. Click on Brave settings / More Tools / Create Shortcut…
  3. Tick the “Open as window” and click on Create
  4. Open the new “app” shortcut, a new window appears
  5. Double click inside the window => The window crashes

Expected result:
Double clicking should not crash and behave like a double click inside Brave (select text in most cases).

Hi @pampadawan,
Can you give me the site you were using to create a shortcut so I can test this out?

I just figured out that this issue was due to an external app (bettertouchtool) which somehow made the shortcut apps crash while not having the same behaviour with other chromium based web browsers. I identified the culprit and removed it.
