Desktop not linking to Gemini because of Region?

I have read about the new limits with certain regions. Before I read the thread I contacted Gemini as I thought the problem was with them…

I did receive a reply after I found out about the regions. However according to Gemini I should still be able to link my Brave to my Gemini Acc… please see att screenshot of email from Gemini.
