Desktop icons generated by address bar contents

Hi there. This may of been asked before but not with graphics. So far, I like the way that Brave works but there is this one little feature: If I select the contents of the address bar and drag it to the desktop, the the link icon is the lion head but the title is the title from the link. With FF, you get the source icon. This is with
[Version 1.17.75 Chromium: 87.0.4280.88 (Official Build) (64-bit)]
and Windows 10 version 2004 build 19041.685
I would be awesome if there is some way to allow the source icon generation!
Thanks
(The image below was generated by dragging from Brave and FF)

You can create a Redirect HTML If you want to be able to connect to that Website from your Browser example, you create Website.html and then inside you add the URL redirector

< meta http-equiv = “refresh” content = “10; url = http: //www.example.es /”>

So when you click Open with Brave Browser you go directly to your desired website without any problem, you can create hundreds of Google Facebook files, etc. If you want to add more than one link, you can create Pages.html and add
< a href = "https: //facebook.com "> Facebook < br>
< a href=“https://google.com”> Google

That way you will have 2 Links to access from your Url, AND If you learn to add it as the main page and you will have a whole Set up your favorite websites on your main Brave Browser page or on your Desktop.

I am not exactly sure why a redirect is necessary as either of the depicted shortcuts opens the same website. My only issue is with the appearance on the desktop. Multiple rows of lion heads is not the easiest thing to visually scan. Sorry if I am not following your reply.

ETA: I think the issue is with “favicon” handling. May or may not be a Brave issue…

Thanks, that works! Not as nice as just dragging but it solves the issue. Gracias!
