Desktop browser shows pages as on Mobile

#1

Hi, I have been using Brave for a couple of hours now. A few things have been frustrating to work with in this regard. This topic is about a specific bug I encountered. When clicking on a link on the website tweakers.net (which is a Dutch tech forum) it loads the page as a mobile page (see the attached screenshot). After reloading it loads as a normal page.

I use Windows 10 (fall creators update) and the following version of Brave:

Brave: 0.20.30
V8: 6.4.388.40
rev: 8b78402e7b3b91d44d8146cbe4dc8013592c33fd
Muon: 4.7.9
OS Release: 10.0.16299
Update Channel: Release
OS Architecture: x64
OS Platform: Microsoft Windows
Node.js: 7.9.0
Brave Sync: v1.4.2
libchromiumcontent: 64.0.3282.119

Does someone have a possible solution for this issue?

I don’t see that on Windows basically the same Windows ver running. Do you mind clearing the browser cache once and trying again?

This resolved the issue, although I do find it wierd as I had not used the browser for more than one session. The issue occurred immediately after I installed Brave.

EDIT: the issue still persists after the removal of the catch. When opening a link to this website from the Mail app in Windows 10 the page still shows up as a Mobile page.
