Desktop browser crashing twice in less than one hour

I’m running Brave Desktop 1.2.42 on MacOS 10.13.6 on my MacBook Pro mid-2012. It has been great until today that it crashed/quit on me twice during the day.
Is this a general problem or is it just me?

How can this issue be reproduced?

1. Spotify webapp was playing on both times
2. Yahoo Mail was open in one tab
3. Twitter and Google Docs was open on two more tabs

Expected result:
Unexpected quit

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.2.42

Additional Information:
There is a pending update, but both times I tried to finish it, the browser said it had problems extracting the file.

It happened again and I was not even using the browser. It was just sitting there and then I noticed the error message.
