Description of the issue:
Ever since I updated my browser form 1.76 to 1.77.95 today, whenever I sent an open tab to my laptop via my phone, browser (desktop) would crash.
Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.
- Open a tab on my phone, select “Send to devices”
- Confirm the device (my laptop in this case)
- Brave on my laptop crashes after a few seconds
Reproduces how often:
Everytime. SInce the update.

Type of devices currently running on the Sync chain in question:
Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS
Android
Additional Information:
- It works normally when I send tabs from laptop to phone.
- Before the crash, I don’t see the notification that you’re supposed to get when you receive a tab from other devices.
- When I reopen the browser, no indication of my sent tabs.
