Depositing ADA on Brave Wallet

Hi everyone! I apologise, because my questions might sound stupid, but I’m really a beginner with cryptos. Let’s say I buy ADA on Uphold or whatever other platform/wallet. Then I want to move those to my Brave Wallet. I thought ADA was not supported in brave and indeed I can’t directly buy them from my wallet. But when I go to the “Explore” or “Deposit” section, it allows me to deposit them on the BNB smart chain. What would happen if I do that? All these different chains are a little confusing to me and I know that not using the right one may lead to funds loss. Could you explain to me how that “deposit” and “Explore” part of the wallet work? Sorry again for the trivial query and I thank you all in advance.

Hi, your doesn’t sound stupid at all. I think, making a swap or deposit to Brave wallet is a bit lagging as I’m currently having issue with the wallet myself. I made a 0.5 Solana [SOL] deposit to Brave wallet from TWT wallet using BNB smart chain, while the transaction was completed and successful from TWT wallet, but NOTHING appeared/displayed in Brave wallet since an hour now.

My advice, please do not avoid using Brave wallet for now until Brave do something to make any completed and successful transactions appear or display in seconds or minutes NOT hours or days. In addition, there is no medium to contact Brave directly and this is pretty annoying.

For me, I’m glued to my desktop refreshing, signing out and in to see the SOL transaction appear/display in my Brave wallet account, NOTHING YET!!!

Thank you very much for your reply and understanding! I hope this situation get fixed soon. Let’s see if anyone else have something to say for my query.
