Default Window Name for a profile

I use multiple different profiles for my work but often have to visit the same sites in these profiles. When switching between windows i can get confused by which window is which. I know i can right click the browser and set a name, but if i close the window, that name disappears. A setting that would enable me to set a default window name for each browser profile would be awesome, so that even if i open up a new window with that profile i can identify it easily.

EDIT: Sorry I just re-read your post, I guess I was a little off in what you wanted at first, multiple and new windows keeping the Window Name of the current Profile… I agree that would be helpful, I tend to just use one window per profile but I’ll upvote that, sounds like a good idea :+1:

A solution (which you do another way anyway after re-reading) and is a hassle to do constantly for every new window created and not kept:

  1. Go to the three lines/hamburger/sandwich menu at the top right (shortcut to Settings).
  2. Then More Tools
  3. Then Name Window...
    (there is also a Keyboard Shortcut you can use)
    Obviously do that for each window/profile and you’re good!
    and the names will stick around, at least they have for me… since I have Continue where you left off marked under On startup within Get started

Yeah i know that i can name windows. I would just like there to be a default so i dont have to do it everytime.
