when configured as described here, in combination with brave’s shields and adblocking on my router, my connection feels much faster than the one I’m paying for.

did you read the link/post? I followed the example/directions there
I do not want to install HTTPS Everywhere extension as it is built-in in brave browser. But Brave does not give option to edit HTTPS Everywhere as in the native extension. That is what I am looking for.
