Dealbreaker, no porn blocking application supports brave

Brave is a very good browser. You did a good job and it has many promising concepts. I tried it for a while, but found out that the porn blocking software I have installed, Qustodio, does not support it neither on Android or Windows. I have searched the forum and the web, the only option available is to install a web browser extension that violates your integrity and that is easily disabled any way. It’s too easy for me, I have tried web extensions earlier. With Qustodio you have to enter a password to uninstall it. A password I do not know.

Hi, I’m not quite sure, but I think it’s the “one hand washes the other” principle. Even the software you mention has to support Brave by itself.

So it would be great if you could still contact the developers of the software you use! :speech_balloon::+1:

This is also an issue for our non profit org. We had been preparing to recommend a combination of Brave plus Qustodio for reducing access to the worst forms of porn.

Initial tests showed that web surfing performance was far better in Brave than in Chrome or Edge. Firefox was also good after fixing a cert issue. Opera seems okay too.

Qustodio was using > 50% cpu for long periods of time while using Chrome or Edge!

However as of around 7-22-19 Qustodio is actually keeping Brave from running!
