I don’t think I’m alone when I say that amp sites are worse than custom mobile sites(most notable example: amp.reddit over i.reddit.com) on phones, making it a pain to edit URLs every time I I want to exit Google-sphere.
This feature is what makes Kiwi Browser on Android my go-to browser for all Google searches. Hoping to see it be part of Brave browser so no browser hopping could be a thing.

To open the original non-AMP HTML page, you can just tap the (mostly hidden) address bar at the top of the screen.

However, an HTML page could actually track you much better than an AMP does, which drastically reduces the calls to JavaScript functions.
