Dashvantage.biz embedding unblocked tracker on all visited websites

Description of the issue:
I found a js file in the ‘sources’ file folder of every website I visit. The code of it is here: https://pastecode.xyz/view/a0a0f37d and a screenshot of where I found it is here: http://prntscr.com/ro8y23 . You can see that it connects to random .ru links and turns tracking on on various websites, and randomly redirects me through Bing sometimes.

How can this issue be reproduced?**

  1. Have the virus
  2. Check your console > sources and see it. Also it is loading in bottom left.

Expected result: I am not tracked.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Version 1.5.113 Chromium: 80.0.3987.149 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information: This should be blocked.

I don’t use brave but stumbled across this post while researching this behavior as it was occurring for me.

For me it turned out to be caused by the extension “Dark Mode for YouTube” which has since been removed from the Chrome Store.
