Cursor Focus to URL Bar in New Tabs

#1

Guys, can we PLEASE make it so when I open a new tab, that the cursor is ready and waiting in the URL bar for me to start typing? I never open a new tab where I am not attempting to go somewhere unless I open it by right-clicking a link. In which case, I don’t want to type anything, I want to go where the link was sending me. But if I manually open a new tab, I can’t think of a time that I didn’t want to type an address or search term in the URL bar…

Thanks!! Great browser! I’ve abandoned Chrome! Finally!

I would actually find this quite annoying. The current behavior of focus on the search field is perfect.
