Description of the issue:
I sent a simple ETH transfer transaction, and used the custom message option for the first time. I was paying out prize winnings for an e-sports tournament, so I included the message “congrats winner!”
Suddenly, my wallet page became a big grey screen that I cannot interact with. Inspecting the page shows the following error:
“Error: Cannot convert string to buffer. toBuffer only supports 0x-prefixed hex strings and this string was given: 0xcongrats winner!”
I restarted my browser, and logged back in, only to be greeted with the same blank grey page as soon as I log into my wallet. Is there any way for me to clear the wallet’s cache, or return the wallet to normal functionality without restoring my wallet from seed, or re-importing accounts?
