Hello,

I have been watching crunchy roll, and lately ads have been showing on the crunchyroll site. My shields are up, and ad blockers are up for my vpn as well as on Brave. I was wondering could I get some assistance or is there something I could do to change my shields for this site? Was wondering was this an isolated incident or has it happened to more brave x crunchyroll users than me?

Pull up to watch any anime on crunchy roll. Here’s a start. Ads pop up at the small circle like indentations on the streaming/uploading bar.

Probably 1st-party ads – Brave generally doesn’t block these. You can try right clicking on the ad element and select “Brave > block element via selector” as a last resort/hacky fix in the interim. :slight_smile:

I played through the clip (at the start and end) where I see the notches. When it came to the “ad notch” I just get a black screen and a loading circle. and then into the video. Didn’t see any ads

i’ve also tried to reproduce the pop up ads, with and without adblock filter and/or VPN, and no ads pop.
