Crowdstrike blocks Brave Browser from running

Description of the issue:

After installing Brave Browser from Microsoft Store, Crowdstrike Falcon notifies me that: “A process was blocked because malicious behavior was detected”

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Open Microsoft Store
  2. Install Brave Browser from Microsoft Store
  3. Click the Brave icon after installation

Expected result: Brave Browser should start.

Brave Version( check About Brave): Latest version that is on Microsoft Store, not possible to verify as the browser doesn’t start.

Not sure if this is a Brave fault here, Have you reached out to crowdstike? Similar to Anti-virus false positives blaming Brave for being infected.

I haven’t reached out to them yet, I thought about posting here first in case someone else has faced this issue too.
