So i have had a few times my credit card information stolen… so now i’m super careful when ordering online. My credit card info is never stored anywhere on my pc. I know its not full proof. But whatever… purchasing online i always need to manually input my credit card info… the browser always ask to store my credit card info and i always refuse.
Now i just made an order on a web site i never ordered before… upon confirming the order it ask to input the credit card info to proceed… and weirdly enough my correct credit card info was already inputted in the boxes… everything the number the dates and the security number. (The web site is an Australian Movie/Dvd store… they have an exclusive boxset movie i reallly wanted; Umbrellaent.com.au)
Now i checked in the “autofill and password” settings of brave in the payment section… and my credit card info is not saved at all.
So i wonder how and where are my credit card info stored other than there? I checked the cookies and they only had my account login for the website… so i wonder where else does Brave stores credit card info?
